Engine

I upgraded from the 1.5 non Vtec to the 1.6 Vtec for now. I only did this swap because I blew the 1.5. Now that the weather has broken I plan on swapping in a b18 gsr motor. I basically am just running a 1.6 Vtec with plugs, wires, and an intake.

Interior

The interior was clean when I purchased the car last summer. But since I wanted to do something different than regular racing seats and harnesses, I found a great condition set of 2000 Si seats (front and rear). I also have a b$n short shifter. A red type r shift knob and red billet brake handle. I plan on switching to an Si gauge cluster.

Exterior

Type R rear lip, Mugen style front lip, and m3 sideskirts which came as a mistake which I decided I would live with until next summer when I change the body. I have jdm black housing heads with black corners, eyelids to go over those (uninstalled) and a very ricey set of black altezzas which I like anyway. Z3 fenders.

Wheels/Tires

I riding on a set of 17 inch Exel Ennios. Very nice set of wheels.

Supension/Braking

I purchased some coilovers that I have yet to install.

Future Mods

GSR motor swap. Install springs. jdm fog lights. spoon mirrors, carbon fiber oem hood. carbon fiber oem wing if I can find one, I keep seeing the duck bill. si break conversion. new paint, probably the red they use on s2000. I have a billet grill I need to install. Nitrous. Removable steering wheel. I can't list everything but I want the gsr motor for now so that I can fully build the d16 for 300hp.

Not to bad, i was going all looks at first, now im trying to go more jdm and im only running the turbo off the 1.5 cause it has 40k on it and then im building a d16

dude what kind of coiloversw are you gonna put on it? well let me know what they r like. im planning to lower mine, im in the military here in upstate ny the streets are f$#%ed up so whats why i wont slam mine yet

i m runnin a sohc d16 as well and i love it. i am currently trying to get the car down to low 12's all motor it can be done so im going to do it. my dream is a 10 second sohc all motor so well see how it goes for now. but i do know what u mean they are mean little engines, they'll keep up with almost anything with the right driver.

it's pretty clean and a good start. The wheels are pretty similar to Advan Model 5's which are nice simple but clean wheels. I saw another profile where you commented about your D16 motor. They are actually good platforms to build on, especially the SOHC VTEC ones. Of course shy a bit of power compared to a GSR, but still the best D16 platform to build from. I help moderate on a SOHC D16/F22 forum that might be worth checking out. Who knows, you might decide to build it up and save on the swap. www.sohchonda.com if you so fancy to check it out. hey i like ur civic and u might be right about the slipstreams but i do want a nice set of japanese rims mayebe mugen rims. does ur car have the d16 or the b16 in it. if it has the d16 in it how do u like it.hit me up...lates

looks pretty nice, my kinda style. rims are a bit big for my taste. A 300hp dseries is do-able. The B series would probably take less tuning to reach 300. keep i up.

I would drop it, but unfortunately the neighborhood I live in now (and most of Michigan in general) is full of crappy roads. In my neighborhood there isn't a single paved road at all, its all dirt and full of bumps and holes which get really bad in the winter and after it rains. I agree that it would look good dropped, but I've only got a year left of college and then I can move away from here, so I think I'll just trade it in on a truck for now. Thanks for the comment though.

I know the gsr would be an easier build... but I kinda feel like having a single cam that makes 300hp is more impressive. But yeah, I do realise that building the gsr would definately be less expensive and thus quicker. Thanx for the comment

hey.. Yes I did the interior myself.. I like your lip it looks really nice with your car... Yea I plan on lowering the car not sure how much because I dont have the 15"s anymore I just got a set of 17"s... and for the outside its getting painted black soon so it should took kewl.... are you going to be doing up your d16? or just gonna wait till your swap? anyways talk to you later good luck with everything :0)

It will be a lot easier to build the GSR for 300 horses than the D16. Most built d-series motors that I've seen top out around 250 horses.
